We hope and pray that as you come and worship Christ together with us the Holy Spirit will edify your heart and soul. The objective of worship is to bring glory and honor to God for what HE is and to work HE does.  As God receives your worship HE will bring your life closer to His life.  And then you will be able to become a strong witness and make HIS name known among your family, your friends, your city, and among the nations, Halleluia!

Music

Viroqua Church of Christ provides a unique worship experience as you will be encouraged to worship God with all your heart and all your soul.  Our worship ministry team will lead you and worship God with you.  The music selection will be both traditional and contemporary.  Hymns will be blended with contemporary worship songs as the whole congregation feels the presence of the Holy Spirit. 

We believe that Worship is all about God. The Bible defines worship and sacrifice as obedience.  We worship God by obeying the Lord.  We prove we love Him by our obedience to His Word and to the Holy Spirit. 1 John 5:3 "This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome"; 1 John 3:24 "Those who obey his commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us."

Worship Team

The VCOC worship team  is a mix of young and more mature members.  They lead and accompany the vocals and the congregation. Our Elders encourage music that will connect with the heart of God and the soul of the worshipers.

Preaching

The teaching by Jeff is from the Bible; sometimes verse by verse, sometimes more topical - but always true to God's Word. The Bible will come alive to you and you will, if you allow it, grow!
